Features & Fixes Details
OpsAdmin automatically sends updated customer information to ESG
There are two screens where the customer data can be modified in OpsAdmin: Enrollment Details and My Account. Now OpsAdmin will automatically send any edited information from those screens to ESG. The fields that are considered depend on the screen:
- My Account: Only email, phone number and language are sent to ESG if any is modified.
- Enrollment Details: First name, last name, firm name, phone number, cellular number, fax number, email, contact name and language are sent to ESG if any is modified.
These fields are the only ones tracked because those are the fields that can be edited within OpsAdmin but also ESG allows to update via its integrations.
The system also follows different rules in case of error depending on the screen:
- My Account: If the changes are stored correctly in OpsAdmin but the connection to ESG fails, the customer will see a success message and the error will be logged in Log History.
- Enrollment Details: If the changes are stored correctly in OpsAdmin but the connection to ESG failed, the system will show a warning message indicating that the information was saved successfully in the system but it should manually be updated in P2C.
New logs for changes of users or role groups
OpsAdmin now will log the changes made when a user is added, edited or deleted. The same applies for the three operations in the Role Groups Manager.
Configuration to make the default plan field mandatory
Now it is possible to make the Default Plan field mandatory. To change this there is a new configuration value in System Setup named Make Default Plan mandatory for Plans. By default this new configuration is set to false to maintain the current behavior of the system.
Allow to send a letter of credit after generating the enrollment
Now it’s possible to take a letter of credit from the Quick Enrollments. If the user selects this option, he will be able to complete the enrollment with the status On Hold - Letter Of Credit Pending Upload.
Those enrollments will be listed in the On Hold Enrollment Manager with the option to upload a letter of credit.
Selecting a letter of credit will consider it as approved and the enrollment will be sent to the Billing System.
Waive deposits from On Hold Enrollment Manager
OpsAdmin keeps adding functionality to the On Hold Enrollment Manager to centralize all the operations that can be done to On Hold Enrollments. Now it’s possible to waive the deposit of an enrollment with the status On Hold - Deposit Pending and send it to the billing system. This feature already exists in the Enrollment Manager and will remain accessible from that screen.
The Market Manager now is available with the 2.0 UI
We simplified the screen functionality and modernized its look to match the rest of the system.
Now it’s time to fight the Kraken and start working on the new Plan Manager screen =D.
Improved Billing Charges naming depending on the market
Now the system will show the information of the billing charges tab (in My Account and Customer Support) with different names depending on the market of the enrollment. For Texas, it will show Electric – Energy Charge instead of Electric - Charge and Electric – TDSP Charges instead of Electric - Regular Bill. For other markets, it will work as always showing only Electric - Regular Bill.
OpsAdmin no longer has the temporary password fields and instead generates one automatically
The Temporary Password field is no longer available in OpsAdmin. Instead, when a new user is created, the system will send an email to the user with a randomly generated password following the rules configured in the System Setup.
The same applies to the Reset Password functionality, which now is placed in the Actions menu of the Users Manager and will also send the randomly generated password to the user.
