Features & Fixes Details

Added role to bypass the mandatory setup of recurring billing

OpsAdmin has a configuration in System Setup that allows the process to configure recurring billing during the enrollment to be mandatory or optional .

Now there is the new role Payments --> Allow to enroll without requiring recurring payments that allows bypassing the mandatory recurring billing in Quick Enrollments (this role has no meaning if recurring billing is configured as optional in System Setup).

Contract date behavior during enrollment process is now configurable

OpsAdmin had a configuration hardcoded for each customer to determine if the contract, service and request dates had to be generated during the enrollment process or not. These dates are temporal since are updated by the billing system once the enrollment is accepted.

Now that configuration can be changed from System Setup with the option Generate provisional dates when saving the enrollment.

NOTE: No client should see any change on how the system behaves since this value will be automatically configured to maintain the same logic previously used.

Second level menu options are hidden based on user roles

OpsAdmin has roles and permissions to access any screen listed under the first level of the main menu. The problem was that, even though trying to access a restricted screen would result in an error, the options were visible. For example, if a user only had access to Users and System Setup under Global Setup, still all options were visible.

This has been fixed and now only the corresponding menu items are shown depending on the roles the user has associated.
