Features & Fixes Details
Migrated Utility and Market configuration to Document Manager
Old screens:
New screens:
Now the utility and market configuration is done at the document level instead at the document type level. This brings several advantages to the usage of the system:
- There is no longer the need to have dozens of repeated document types, for example to manage Terms of Services and be sure that each document is applied to the right market. Previously, it was necessary to create the TOS New York, TOS Ohio and TOS Texas document types and then also create the corresponding documents totaling 6 different entities, now only a single TOS document type is needed and the market / utility can be configured on the corresponding document.
- The Exclusive checkbox in document type gains more significance. When this option is enabled the system **will make sure that only a single document of each type is assigned to a particular plan. **Continuing with the example above, if there is a generic TOS besides the three for each market a fourth document type was required for the filters to work correctly, but having one document in each document type makes the Exclusive checkbox useless. Now being able to have all the documents under a single type, after assigning for example the TOS Texas document, the system will prevent the user from adding the generic TOS to that plan.
- Filters are more useful too since it should be less common having documents configured for All Markets or All Utilities.
The information has been migrated automatically, now each existing document has the information from the associated type. The document types haven’t been changed or deleted to maintain the existing structure but it’s possible for the user to reorganize things manually.
Pricing Matrix: Added Prospect Document Type: It will be possible to attach documents to pricing quotes!
Feature still under development.
Starting with this iteration it is possible to create prospect documents that will be used with the pricing matrix site.
Currently only the creation aspect has been implemented, in future iterations the system will automatically generate and attach documents to the prospects generated from the pricing functionality.
Every existing document has been updated to be considered a Plan document to maintain the existing behavior and this will be the default option for new document types.
Added feature to massively waive ETFs
Option to massively waive or un-waive ETFs have been added to the ETF Invoice Queue screen.
When selecting the waive option it also gives the option to send the drop to the archive.
A very similar option already exists in the Customer Details section and it has been adjusted to work the same way as the massive option.
